Bleeding Green. Born and raised in Maryville I have been a Bearcat since going to Horace Mann in elementary school. Having my father teach here and then me attending myself, I love this school. I love everything about it…the family atmosphere, the education I got for the cost, the lifelong resources it offers, the job opportunities I have had because of the experiences and degree I received while here. The campus it’s self is beautiful and I get to see it every day. Plus there is nothing better than wearing that paw and meeting people from all over- no matter where you go- with the same love.
Take advantage of the small classes, the relationships you build with everyone around you from staff to faculty, and never ever hesitate to reach out for help.
The resources we have here are outstanding, but you have to ask for them and show up.
College will change you- for the better…you will grow! So go find yourself, do something you’ve never done, talk to people you would have never spoken to and make yourself uncomfortable.
